gl_wireframe 1
and
gl_wireframe 2

first option lets you see player visable polygons, and shows the way textures cut up the brushes

2nd option allows you to see what the engine can see in addition to that

first is great for showing how the map is split up
second is great for making halflife run so slow u could draw it faster by HAND (a hand that moves at 30fps in my case).

does anyone actually use this forum?

i think smellfire seems to be the only true user

yep
