Wahey, looking good!!
The first review for th object of our desire is out, and it looks like it hasn't disapointed!!
Even with the the new harsher scores, PC-Zone gave Black and White 95%!!
Uppers: Wondrous AI, Lovely Landscapes, Genuinely funny in places, Amazing creatures, Hundreds of challenges/quests, Original Ideas.
Downers: Takes time to get into.
Man, I can't wait any more!!

Strange, am I the only person in the country to have received this months issue of PC-Zone?
No complaints here (let's just hope I get my copy of B&W as speedily, too :E)
Damn!
Still no PCZ on sale here...
:{
I recieved my copy PC Zone (100th issue) this morning and to run the game they recommend a PIII 650 with 128MB and a decent graphics card.
The game does look awesome though.
<--Athlon 700, 256Mbs Ram, GF2 GTS.
Phew!
:D
<--- Athlon 800, 256ram, Voodoo5 :D
Plus i got a raid setup so ultra low loading times too - woohoo :)
I dont read to much into these specs coz I got Giants the other day and the Min spec for that is P350 128mb Ram etc
All I have is a P2 266 with 256mb ram and a Geforce 2 MX and the game runs perfectly with all the options turned up to full and the view distance as far as it will goes as well.
IF B&W looks as good as Giants I will be happy.
the screenshots look awesome, its gunna beat the crap outta Giants! :)
Your P2 266 will not have enough speed. I would think that Black & White is a tad more CPU intensive than Giants.
I think your wrong asghar. The whole point of Black and White is that it is scaleable. PM said all along he wanted the game to run on a massive range of computers. The min spec has just changed recently from being a p200 to a p233 so Im looking good.
The worst that will happen is I will lose some graphical detail to compensate but even so like I say Giants is supposed to need some monster system but runs pretty damn well on my machine.
Yer my PC Zone came today
The min spec is P266. But just cus it runs on the that spec does not mean it will look that good. When PC Zone give a spec I think they are saying thats the PC u need to get the most out of the game. Anything less than that then u are not experiencing the game as it is meant to be played.

The Gfx card support is most important - Giants has pants Voodoo support - and therefore runs like poo on my PIII 450 128mb v3 3000 machine, not that that is good spec nowadays :)
I just hope BnW is gonna have better Voodoo support - cos giants is unplayable in places.
TBH the gfx card is your biggest bottleneck in that system.
Fire a V5 (PCI version is now only £99 in Game) or GF (either 1, 2 GTS or MX) in there and you'll see a huge difference.

Yeh ive got my eyes on a geforce2 ultra - that should keep me going for the next 2 years :)
GFX cards are "good" for a year at most really.

Well they have to be good for 2 on my income :) arf
Yay
Finally got PCZ today - bit disappointed in the review, as it doesn't show or tell anything more than what we already know...
But still. Easily Game of the Year.
