Just thought I'd let you all know that after some initial deep thought on behalf of this individual, he finally decided to take up this post that he wanted all along. Please give a rather large round of applause (and thanks in advance) to our resident "fruitcake"...

His initial umming anr arring led me to advertise the post, but he finally came back and said he really wanted to have a crack. I'm glad he did as now he's told me his ideas for the rest of the year, it should be bloody good fun.

I had 11 applicants in total, all of whom were top drawer and in many ways, I wish I hadn't asked now as I'm not a fan of saying "thanks but you were not chosen". :(

I can safely say though, that all of you who applied are definately priorities for other positions within our fine community when they come up, should you like a go. The very fact you were all prepared to put your own time out for the rest of us should be thanked - so thankyou. :)

Ok, that's it - all say thanks like good people and then we can move on and play some games. ;)
