Of the very few has this become the most predictable motoring program on tv ?
I just hate the way u can tell which car is going to win the cheesy driven 100 by the time the three of them have said there opening lines ! And they think u is thick, all those pointless pieces about tyres and fuel ! I know if my Tyres r not at the right pressure they wont work as well and the faster u drive or how u drive u will burn up more fuel ! Also the spyshots, what is the point in them ? Did u see the new Vauxhall green cube ? Why show it when we cant even see the shape ? Has another car program started to go downhill ?

Lol yeah, driven is no where near as good as it used to be. Did you see their exclusive feature on the Evo 7? Bwahaha! It was pish! I nearly wee'd myself when I heard it was going to be on, and we got about 5 seconds of the car totally disguised with that twat mumbling some crap over it.

LOL!! i thought it was just me.The first series was like ok,but this new one really is supercrap!... when are these stupid people gonna catch on that the sort of people that want to watch a programme about cars,dont want to watch mpvs swerving in and out of cones(heh..)or daft 4wds going up mucky hills,or watch family saloons doing overtaking manoeuvres round vans....those sorts of people arent interested in cars or they wouldnt be driving mpvs and 4wds.....Ive been in contact with London Weekend Television and the men and motors digital channel about making like a tv version of the max power/fast car mags theme, and they do seen quite interested on the idea....so wish me luck!

First series was well good...

Jason Barlow i think his name was, ex-writer for Performance Car (Best mag in the world - Now known as Evo ;) ), made the show informative, and entertaining..

Jason Plato going sideways in a Caterham(etc etc) is about the only reason i watch it now.

Penny Thingamy talking about luggage space in an Audi A6...... Ummmmmmm. No.

They have got a busy forum over at their web site but I won't give you the URL cause the few of you that post here might go AWOL then there will be just me left posting on my own :laugh:

Top Gear is for rich ass snobs, and Driven is for the rest of us who want to know about NORMAL cars which we can afford and how they handle. Not how an F550 handles going 'round a chicane in Southern France! :mad:

Nah, I reckon TG is better, just.

There are very few people , and nobody else on TV, that can slide a car like Tiff Needel (sp).

Plus, who the hell wants to watch "ooh look we can fit 28 people in to this boot" penny thingamajig when we can watch some burning rubber and Vicky B-H? :lips: Huh?

I can't even afford any of the cars on either program anyway, so I might as well watch the one with the nicest cars!
