The single player still sucks ass in a major way as the guards are still too stupid (ie shoot one guard in the head with an AK47 and the guy next to him doesnt even notice!!!)

But Multiplayer ROCKS!!!!!!!

Get broadband too if you can you wont be sorry - you will know what I mean after a 32 or 50 player battle and come to realise like me that this game is the closest to the holy grail of an online WAR you are gonna get so far!!

Until Op Flashpoint that is, then hopefully WWII online, and Halo and so on..... :E

Cant comment on single player game, but played this game on a 6 player LAN sunday nite, and its wicked

Ummm yeah the player models are a bit poor at range but close up the are fine.

The scenery that wobbles like jelly? Try updating your gfx card drivers :E

The size and scale of the maps mean u aint gonna get crisp poly's like UT or Q3 unless you got a 1Gig Geforce 10 and 5 ghz Pentium 10 mate! I think the scenery and hills etc look wicked and reflect pretty accurately what the human eye would see over such a distance/range. My only complaint on this game is the lack of UK servers that were PROMISED by Novaworld.

Haven't played DF1 or 2 (liked the demo for DF2 but it ran like treacle in any decent resolution due to the revolutionary "No 3D card supported" technology.)

I'm playing DF3: LW now, and I'm having a whale of a time, although I am tearing through missions at a rate of knots.

It's a shame the models and mapping aren't as good as say, Counterstrike but that's a hard target to beat.
