Multiplayer BG2

Looking for a Multiplayer game of BG2, have been checking on here regularly for games, just none have appeared!

I would appreciate it if someone could tell me if there are regular times you guys come on and play?

erm, afaik people dont seem to play around here much, well ive never seen any1 plying anyway.
Its all gone Pete Tong Since NF left imho ;(

Baldur's Gate certainly never seems a popular choice for online gaming. Possibly because it's so long, and it's the same game in multiplayer as in single player :{

If you post on here to specify a time you want to play a multiplayer game, you will get plenty of replies from people saying they're up for it. From experience, it seems like 50% of these don't turn up, and of the remainder 25% haven't patched their game (preventing them from joining if the host has the patch) and 20% have crap computers/connections that don't let them connect anyway.

All the same, don't lose heart, you might be successful where others have not been :)

I dunno, 5% implies a 1 in 20 chance, I don't think we've had 20 attempts yet so no-one can be as precise as that :)

come along to #wpbg2 (on irc in my other thread)
on a saturday night about 7-9pm, (whenever) and theres lots
of peeps on (well, not so many at moment... but anyway)
and we have found that the only decent games having been started have been started from irc :)
(as it's a great place to meet and chat etc)

I agree, there. If all the BG2 players come onto #wpbg2 then people can see at a glance who's around, and ask who's up for a game. Sometimes, it works :)
