George Perez rocks :E Get those earlier ones done by George as well :)

Heres a quick look at some av4ever [ 12 issue maxi-series ] covers: 1 (http://www.eranu.f9.co.uk/foxy/comics/images/avengersforever1.jpg),2 (http://www.eranu.f9.co.uk/foxy/comics/images/avengersforever2.jpg),3 (http://www.eranu.f9.co.uk/foxy/comics/images/avengersforever3.jpg)

OK wheres a quote:

Avengers from all across the time stream are pulled together to protect Rick Jones from Immortus. Avengers along for the ride include Captain America, Hawkeye, Goliath [Hank Pym], the Wasp, Captain Marvel, Songbird and Yellowjacket [Hank Pym].

Carlos Pacheco is fantastic, pure and simple! One can not help but notice the similarities between Pacheco and George Perez. He combines dynamic action scenes with ultra-detailed backgrounds. In addition, Pacheco has incredible way with character expression.

No wonder I liked it then, especially with Kurt Busiek as the writer :E Must really read some of these maxi series in one sitting.

Could do with some of the DC archives, but I stopped getting them when they started to hit £30 plus :( They are about what £38 retail now.

As a general rule I dont collect paperbacks, if its reprints of comic material [ especially since I have most of the originals they reprint anyway ]. The only exception to this is if its truely old material [ like the DC/Marvel archives ], has additional material / reworking of material or if its something I've missed and cant get the original issues for [ expense or rarity wise ].

But its nice to see that certain stuff gets reprinted in an afforable format, especially the maxi-series.
