Pay to play

Does any one know if u r going to have to pay to play this game online like on UO? cause it just came into my head after i had ordered the game that there might be a fee to play it. Does any one have any info on this? is there going to be a monthly charge to play online or is there going to be a charge for the servers?

I doubt if it would be a monthly charge system, as the B&W mutiplayer version isn't a persistent world (well not for the time-being anyhow).

It'll be free IMO for the moment.

I think it will be just like a match up service to begin with like Populous 3 was. Eventaully there was going to be a B&W universe which you would have to pay for. That may have been canned though.

AS far as i know there will be several online options, with 'the gathering' being persistent worlds, if you have to pay for anything it will be that only. Online skirmishes, DM etc should be free.

Im not even sure if 'the gathering' will be in the full release - ive heard talk of it being implemented in a patch.

Yeah it's true :( The Gathering isn't going to be implemented for the final release. Which is ashame because a persistent onine world that revolves around Black & White would be... interesting :)
