Can someone recommend me a good well priced video player.
Not a DVD, a Video Player, the ones that play them tape things. :)

The Aiwa one for around 140 is an absolute bargain - 6 head, nicam stereo and recieved extremely well by the press. You can find loads of decent bargains now though what with the influx of DVD players.

I cant remember the model no. but its silver and looks very pretty! The fact that it does the job well is also rather nice!

S-VHS decks are really cheap these days and well worth considering. They can also play and record normal VHS if thats a worry..

Marmite3 where did you find that player for 140 notes?
And whats the difference between VHS and S-VHS other than price because I dont think I've run into S-VHS before.

I got that vcr, only cost £120 from makro.
It's 129.99 on offer in dixons at the mo, and its pretty spinkee :)
I've got the same Awai VHS machine and can recommend it. Bought mine from Currys - still after watching DVDs you'll be saying "I don't remember it being this grainy".

Of course I own a DVD player aswell.
Do you think I'd risk posting on this forum without having one. :)
