Hehe - sorry mate - after all that hard work, I can almost smell your frustration from here.

Anyway, I think your lack of feedfack stems from three problems - none to do with the map itself.

Firstly, I have an ADSL connection and it took forever to download - and I mean forever! 1.8kbs tops, so heaven only knows what it must be like for 56k-ers. Where on earth is your host server?! :)

Secondly, After chucking said download into the relevent CS folders, it told me I was missing a wad - namely as_riverside. I've only been playing CS a couple of months, and assume it must have been included with one of the much earlier betas. Anyway, after a bit of detective work I finally managed to track it down. I'll post the link if I can find it again.

Thirdly, it then asks for the TFC2 wad, which I had to copy over to the CS folder.

All in all, a bit of a pain, if you don't mind me saying :) How about including the required textures from these wads in a compiled BSP. It'd save folks a real lot of hassle.

Other than that, a nice, well-constructed map with few flaws - congrats :)

(I'll let other folks have their say before coming back with a few minor suggestions!!)

er there is a readme with it, says where wads are and what u need to do, loads of textures from TFC2.wad used and as everyone has it thought it would be kinder, obviously bad idea....

found out about as_riverside.wad afer I'd compiled it (not that old a map) :) otherwise would have compiled it into map...

Here is a cut version of as_riverside.wad with just the textures ive used.....

On a 56k modem i get 5-7kbps, hosted with freenetnames.
