I just got a Pioneer region free dvd drive from http://www.overclockers.co.uk, i got dvd genie but it still says that i have to change the code on the drive, and that i can change it 4 more times. Help, i am trying to use windvd and powerdvd.

Contact OCUK and explain the problem, they should sort it out fairly fast.

If DVD genie changes the region, but cant reset the counter, then it probably means the drive is hardware region locked. You can download cracked firmware from http://www.firmware.com.bi/ which will either unlock it, or reset it back to 5 changes whenever you run the crack :)

I got a crack for my hitachi drive from there, and I've accidently locked it to certain regions loads before, and the firmware crack just resets it back to 5 changes :D
