If you want to see a technology demo for an engine that they are building two games from one of which will be released this year then take a look at this http://www.crytek.de/hp/xisd.htm It's amazing.

I can't wait to see the game based on this engine.

Works on geforce cards, not sure about others though.

MadOnion's 3DMark DX8 engine will blow your bollocks off to Mars if you have a seriously powerful PC [like me]

Crytek's demo is a very poor attempt at using T&L and I really don't see them getting anywhere with that being a game in the near future - certainly not within a year
