Heeeelp! Pleeeeaaase! For no apparent reason the right hand channel of my SB Live is just crackling away to itself...
before you say "Check the cables / connections" lemme tell ya that i already have! (several times, with no joy...)
the Speakers appear to be fine working under other devices... it appears to be just the right hand channel of the card itself. Dodgy connection ? I find that highly unlikely as i left my computer for 8 hours or so and when i returned *pop* the crackling is there (nothing could have physically happened to the card as there was no one in the house for those 8 hours, nothing was changed with my system, i wasn't connected so no one could of h4x0red me ( :P ))
I didn't think info like motherboard etc. would help but here it is anyway...
Cpu: Intel Celeron 433
Motherboard: Abit BE6 (NOT rev.2)
Memory: 96Mb
Graphics card: Geforce 1 DDR
Think that'll do it :))
Anyone got any suggestions as to what it could be and how i can go about fixing it ?
Cheers :E
