lol...cheers for that excellent info :D
although is that an online review or mag review?
Well the mag is due out today with the B&W review in it, which is what I think he meant.

Damn, that means I'll have to wait two weeks till I get back
from Uni to read my subscription copy.
Arf. :D
Well I'm gonna go for my lunch at 1pm, so hopefully the shops will have it in stock.

Dudes, it was reviewed in PC Zone a couple of weeks back.
P.S. Do you really need some 'sixth-former' to tell you if a games good or not?

I've got it in-front of me now - read it a lunch time over a ham 'n' cheese baguette :)
Score 94% - Lots more detail than the PC Zone review.
I'm not gonna scan it 'cos that would be very norty.
Try the PC Gamer website (www.pcgamer.co.uk)
BTW Ghost - I know this game is gonna be good, I just wanted to get some more details - do you need to read forum postings to know if a games gonna be good :P

ERRR Ghost.........PC Gamer isn`t written by sixth formers........it`s written by ppl who have actually been to Lionhead and have played B&W........and 1 of their staff writers happens to be the clan leader of a certain Q3 clan:wink:

Generally, you get a better idea of a game on forums, as there are more opinions.
Munky: So what! I'm sure Peter's grandmas been to the Lionhead Studios, does that make her a h@rdcore gamer???
Besides, Q3's for the 'uninitiated'. CS's where the actions at!
Erm, Trayn, what he's saying is he knows one of the reviewers that works on PCG. So do I, and I know he's played the game.
He says it's awesome BTW.
And I do trust his opinion.

Aye, truth is... B&W's the only game I've looked forward to for the past year.
Well, the 'whole' truth is, B&W, Jumpgate, UO2, Elite 4.
Can't wait for the last one, I'd trade my stupid lookin' B&W Sheep(evil) for a Cobra Mk.III anyday! Just slap on some Large Plasma Acc. aim at Gimp character on Eden

Well, holy jumping goldfish. You just never know what you'll find out while surfing those wholesale-direct software vendors.
The gospel according to Jungle.com is that B&W is PC Gamer's 'Game of the Month' for March. The actual quote is:
The most anticipated game in recent years, Lionhead's Black and White finally approaches release. Place your pre-order today to avoid disappointment! PC Gamer Game of the Month March 2001 - 94%
Those who have actually recieved the print version of the mag have alerted us to these game's sought-after hardware requirements (all according to PCG UK, of course):
Minimum Spec: Pentium 200, 64MB RAM, 400MB HD space, 8MB 3d card
Recommended Spec: Pentium II 300 64MB RAM 400MB h/d space 8MB 3d card
Thanks to TheBaron for the Jungle.com bit, and countless others for mailing in the additional info.
