Any ideas when it's due for release on DVD R1? It's a corker of a film and I bought Fight Club on a whim when I was looking... should I of?, my mate says it cack but most reviews say it's really good :hmph:

Why do you want to wait for the R1? It's been released as a 2-disc set this week on R2.

The film is OK, basically a re-run of Lock-Stock to be honest, but Brad Pitt is good in it & Tyrone is class. :laugh:

I saw it at the cinema and I have no immediate urge to own it on DVD, TBH.

I just brought the film today and I liked it, very similar in style to lock stock, but different enough.
The 2 disc set is pretty impressive with all the usual extras outtakes, commentary,making of documentary etc.
I don't think the region 1 edition will be any better than the region 2, anyway it's not long been at the cinema's in America so expect a few months wait.
Yes I thought fightclub was a great film.

well i usually like films with a bit more substance than snatch, but i thought it was great, i'd definitely recommend it. what extra gubbins is there in the 2cd release?

Yer there is some easter eggs on snatch.go to the last box on the 1 or 2 page on disk 2 and press up. You get 2 different things. I think one of them is a ring tone.

i thought fight club was one of the best films in ages.
i love the people who say, i knew what was going to happen ages ago, whent hey blatantly didnt.

Well Cal i just got back from the vegas(got married and lost all me cash, but still had a suit case full of movies hehe)and snatch is still on the movies there......Wow we get summit 1st!!!!
BTW i got those Accoustic mini pods u said about....best speakers i have ever had...took a week to run in but since then i have had to turn my rel down a couple of notches...v sweet kit...oh and fight club is wicked..def in my top 5 of all time.....i think it a little hi browe for a few peps as the dont apperciate the sutleties of the movie

I understand what you mean about people not appreciating the subtleties of Fight Club. Whenever I ask a persons opinion about it they just kinda shrug their shoulders and say it was ok but not what they expected, this really gets to me as it is a brilliant, and intelligient film which cant be fully understood/enjoyed with just one viewing.

Anyway, rant over.... :)

because i understood fightclub the first time i watched it, though it is true that every time i watch it again i notice something i missed the first time(but these are small indescrete jokes) cumon! it aint that hard a plot to follow, surely?

Well i got the movie 1st time i watched it, i didnt think that it was hard to follow at all, but there are a few things u notice the more u watch it....and beside's its such a great story and i just loved the twist..cool as feck
My wifey thought it was pants for some reason but thats here look out.....:)
