Anyone got a Hitachi DV-P505E

and if u have, have u tried upgrading the fireware to make it multiregion, cos i wanna make sure it works and dont fu*k up before i do

I used the exact same method for my player because I have the same one, and it works perfectly on any region DVD, even on RCE encoded discs.

Once you have done what it says on the link, press on your remote; Setup, Last, Skip Back, Skip Forward to enter a menu where the region is selectable.

Hope this helps :) , If you havn't got a CD-Writer then I don't know how to solve it sorry.
