I'd have thought with all the excitement about this game you lot would be in irc with me and the lads! :)

EEEK no, I used to have an intellieye mouse and they`re too inaccurate IMHO.I`ll stick with my BS 2000 ta:)

I use an M$ Intellimouse Explorer, and I can rail pretty well with it in Q3 :D

I use the Intellimouse with Intellieye (cheap version of the explorer). I find it's fine. Very accurate in any game (especially for sniping in FPS') and I don't need a mouse mat. I used to have another MS intellieye mouse but ended up having to put it on my dad's PC as I put in a motherboard with a f*cked serial port.

I use a MS Intellimouse Explorer and before that a Logitech Mouseman, both are good mice :)

Avoid cheap mice, you pay for what you get :(

As I don't think I could explain installing mIRC for anything remotely work related, does anyone know of any other way I could get onto chat during the day? Some java applet maybe?

I use an Intellimouse Explorer with a mousemat.
It's an end to those mouseball scrubbing days. (It uses infra red.)
