lo all

i'll be ordering a speaker/decoder set next week, and am just wondering which would be a better option...

im using the tv out from a hollywood+ card if that makes any difference :)

the problem is cash, I am limited to about £200, give or take.

so...the big question...what should i get and where from?

Does your TV or soundcard have an optical or digital bitstream output? If not you ain't gonna be able to get 5.1 sound anyway. I think.

If it has got one of the outputs, then for 230 quid, you should be able to pick up the Videologic Digitheatre (http://www.videologic.com/Products/VL-60382/ProductIntro.asp?Product=VL-60382) which should do you a treat.

EDIT - Just noticed that http://www.gameplay.com sell it for £200.

yeah, the hollywood+ has a digital out using coax s/pdif :)

think ill get the digi, it was either that or the creative dtt3500s
