What is my best Visual connection????

Hi,


I have a Yamaha S700 DVD player and Yamaha DSP E-800 processor.

The DVD player has optical outs and Svideo outs, but no SCART.

The processor has S Video Outs.

Problem is my TV only has Coax and ScART connection in, therefore what is my best connection strategy for getting the best picture and sound possible.

In this case your best connection would be S-Video to SCART on your TV. You can buy SCART adaptors that will accept an SVid cable from most electrical shops (Tandy, etc). It looks like a SCART plug with no cable attached, just receptors for SVid, Composite and Audio signals. Just plug in an SVid cable, then straight into the TV SCART.
