When I run my map in HL it appears as a small sqaure in the middle of the screen HELP

When I run my map in HL it appears as a small sqaure in the middle of the screen, i dont have a clue whats wrong HELP!

Hey m8, by now uve prolly fixed the prob but if not i have the answer i think.

Ur prolly trying to play the map in single player mode using an "info_player_deathmatch" rather than an "info_player_start", or trying to play it in multiplayer mode using an "info_player_start" rather than an "info_player_deathmatch". The reason u appear in the sky overlooking ur level is that there is nowhere to spawn! Hope it helps ya out :)
