Help on playing Baldursgate 2

I want to play Baldursgate 2 with a friend - I have modem dial up and am in UK. What is the best way to do that and do I need to use Wireplay!

Wireplay isn't needed to play Baldurs Gate 2, but I highly recommend using it since it would be alot simpler. However if WP3 isn't working (like it currently isn't) you need to connect to your friends computer by obtaining his IP Address (this can be done by loading the program "winipcfg.exe" from the run menu) then by selecting Multiplayer from inside BG2 and connecting to a game with the TCP/IP protocol. Then enter your friend's IP address and connect to it. That should work :)

If you have any problems it may be because your versions of BG2 are not the same, make sure you're both running the latest version of BG2 before playing.
