Skunk - i don't suppose you'd be able to swing some space on file monster for some Linux(y) things then would you ?
Maybe a couple of decent distros and other useful stuff.

It's a biatch trying to download a 650Mb distro from a server in Katmandu (sp ?) on a Saturday afternoon......

Oh - 10Gb should be enough :E

What an interesting idea. I'm not sure how much free space we've got on there at the moment (sticking up a load of linux mirrors could eat space like no one's business) but I'll definitely look into it. It helps that the guy actually in charge of administering the FTP server is an Open Source / linux stylee person.

How about an archive of Linux games with (this is the less boring bit) full descriptions, evaluations, screen shots, etc? Some of the older stuff is actually quite good[1].
