Notwithstanding a BEST SIMULATION GAME award from Gamespy, the generals have
made their final communique to the Allegiance community. The massively
multiplayer space battle game will no longer be supported with new content or
sold in stores. However, the monthly tariffs have been eliminated as well, and
the game will be allowed to live on as FREE service to players who own the CD! A
new upgrade patch will transition the game from subscription to free status. If
you can find a copy in your local store, now's the time to pick it up!
