I noticed that this morning as well, it does make an interesting read.
If everyone using Mandrake were to put $10 in (for example) they'd probably end up rolling in cash. I'd certainly be willing to do something like that, I mean I've got everything for free so far (not counting the CDs of course) so paying a little bit to sustain further development, especially in what is probably the Linux distro of choice now (in terms of numbers at the very least), is fine by me.
And yes, I think it is your first thread :)
There's been some interesting stuff on slashdot about Mandrake in the past few weeks - including a lengthy comment posted by an ex-Mandrake-employee detailing all sorts of intersting things from an insiders point of view. I'll see if I can dig it up...
