My mate has Wizard of War on C64 cartridge. Despite owning and using a C64 to death for a few years, it's the first C64 cart I've ever seen. Apparently, the carts were very expensive so there aint many around.

Anyone any idea what it's worth [without box or instructions]?

I thank you.

About £1.20
(thats what I just paid for Interantional Soccer!)

It's true that there arn't a huge amount of them around and like most things 'vintage' they are only worth what people will pay for them.

You say that the game hasn't even got the box / instructions so it's not looking good.

About two weeks ago I bought 'Centipede' on cartrige (1983) that is not only still in it's original box but is also still SHRINKWRAPPED!!!!!

Wana now how much I paid? £2.70

Soz Drilla - your mate wuld be lucky to get more then a couple of quid ;(

Yeah, having since found a few on eBay, I understand it's probably worth about two peanuts and a smokey bacon crisp.

Still, he only paid 20p for it...

I'll give you a packet of love hearts and half a curleywurley but that's my final offer.

What is it, just out of interest?
The only c64 cartridge I had was some shoddy moon lander game, instantly forgettable.

I bought Shadow of the Beast cart for my C64 many many years ago. It cost me something like £25 in 1988 or thereabout. Trouble is I played most of the damn game in the actual shop so I wasn't getting value for money :)
But.....the joy of cartridges... after so many tedious PRESS SHIFT+RUN STOP.....PRESS PLAY ON TAPE with all the rewinding and loading eeeeeurrrrghhh! And then I thought floppy disks on my Amiga ruled :)
As for price today, you'll be lucky to get anything at all for it :( One of our local Computer game haunts has got a massive box of old C64 and Speccy tapes and its like 10 for £1, ok if you want aobut 10 copies of Blackwych for different formats :)
