Budget DVD players

I am looking to buy a cheap DVD player, i have seen the Scan SC2000 - has anyone got one of these? Is it any good? Would you recommend it?

If not, what would you recommend?

or if you dont wanna be a skin-flint then they have a large collection of DVD players also region free, top brand names.

my bros got the scan model and it good better then most dvd players costing 250 quid . it also plays cdr vcds very easy.
