quite a while ago i bought a snake board as it looked cool and a good way to get around. i am now able to get up good speed up and down hill (no tricks as i cant find anywhere that sells the foot straps), i'm just wondering if anyopne else has got one of these things and if anybody knows a place where i can buy the straps for a half decent price.

I tried it once, Its arfing (:P)(cue WW edit :E ) hard!
But i only tried it for a few mins.
Does it take like a real specical technique to move or sumin?
I see some guy up kingston on one, he was pulling nosegrinds on a mini ramp, which he switched into like an overcrook midgrind by swingin the other foot right back, it looked heavy. his no grinding foot was at a near 90 degree angle to the other one ova the deck or the ramp.
Pritty cool
Bet it takes longer than skateboarding to learn.

it took me a solid day to learn to move along well using both my feet to gain speed.
a tip for anyone learning 2 snakeboard: at first use backfoot to move forward and frontfoot to steer :)

i think mine was about £50 but i bought it in holland and it was quite a while ago, + i havent seen one for sale since.
The last time I saw one in the shops they were about £120 ;(
(but that was 3 years ago and in hamleysso you should be able to find them much cheaper than that ;))

God this is a blast from the past I yoused to Snakeboard about 4 years ago had the old Ashly Morgan Pro board that had wooden plates on it plus the foot and heal straps.
I could do a few neet triks of the luanch ramp and half pipe but I think you could be a little to late to get into this sport as it sort of died out a wile back but try this web site http://www.snakeboard.com if its still ther or try http://www.snakeboarder.com for a look at some proper boarding.
