I went to the Academy gig last night in Birmingham. Hundred Reasons were support but it was like a big sonic wall which was ****ing impossible to decipher, so I couldn't really tell how they were but the lead singer came and talked to us up on the balcony so i told him "i couldnt hear anything but hey respect for saying hello". i was highly impressed with the papa roach rip at the beginning though, what a fantastic way to start a gig.

one high point, dirk lance was up on the balcony watching them and we waved up to him and he flashed us a cheesy grin and a wave so we were just about set for the night.

but where was the funk??? the warmth was amazing , especially as they gave the audience their own chorus and mr boyd harmonized with us, real special, like.

unfortunately the mcd's toilets afterwards were not unlike reading's after 3 days. i was disgusted.
