No, this is NOT a hoax. FunCom have e-mailed ALL of the CD keys. However, for different reasons, it may well be up to 24 hours before you recieve yours. Good luck all!

still havn't got my key.. plus some some reason I can't access loads of americain sites (can still access gamespy sites, ign and stuff) thus I can't go to officail AO baords or check the main webby.... also becaue this maybe their e-mail will be lost on the way to my mail box ;(

yes its right you can share cd's but only up to the end of beta, sharing a cd after release is a break of contract (as is sharing a account).

They're only half way through sending out keys atm(24 hours after they started) so looks like you've still got a bit of a wait if u haven't got your key yet :|
On the plus side; at least you know they haven't forgot about you, but u gotta wonder if they just pulled the "You should all have your keys within 24 hours" thing out their arses :)

But its still good news to know that everyone should have their keys by end of the weekend.
Theres also the fact that the first batch will be the most troublesome 50,000 ppl registering hasnt been tested until now so those in the second batch should theoretically get a better deal.

I'm rather distressed at the moment :(
I can't seem to get hold of a CD-KEY for the AO beta4!

Although I have the beta downloaded, installed and ready for a jolly good thrashing! I'm awaiting for some kind soul to share their CD-Key with me. As proven by this (http://aoforums.funcom.com/showthread.php?s=0252e4c2009756d6b8c5d7929c4a7254&threadid=8130) thread, it is acceptable for three people to share one CD-Key.

You can't actually share cd-keys, if I were to give you my cd-key to enter here (http://register.funcom.com/register.php) all it would say is "That Registration key is already in use. Please try Again."

What you need is someone to actually share their account login and password with you; And you can see why someone who didn't know you well would be wary of doing that :{
