Wow, if you get in a game where someone with v.2 is the host, it's a massive change. There are rares all over the place, basic rares (like DB saber and Varistas) are already tekked, so you don't waste item space. So far I found (yes, FOUND)

I also managed to get the GC of the v.2 guy, he also gave me THREE mag cells, he said he had a mag that was best for him and he had no need for them. DAMN, i'm lucky :E

Hmmm quite impressive.....1 game with a v.2 peep and rares are flying about like there's no tommorrow.... it's just a shame finding half-rare items is so tough enough in v.1

Lots of them are on the JP servers. Lots are on Ananke and Lead, but mainly refuse to play with you :{ I met someone on Io, but beware, the game fills quickly :) It might be kinda hard to meet up with this guy again Akan, remember, Japan is 9 hours ahead of us :P

I already have the cards of no less then 5 v2 peeps! Not any old v2 peeps tho, but English speaking ones!
I became m8s with em after helping them level up (they are below lv10 u see), but when they are lv40+, I'll have regular gaming m8 who have v2!

So.....have you just played on 'Normal'? I mean how does it go? Does the updated version have 'Normal', 'Hard', 'VHard'? Or what? Version one characters must get max stats and then get stuck for the update if it gets too hard. I mean you can't just follow round level 200 characters picking up the specials they've left behind — like paupers. I don't want to be a second class PSO citizen!! Raking up the **** left behind by the privileged PSOv2 players! AAAAAgh!

I went on Saturday afternoon and thought I'd pop on to the Japanese servers. So I selected "Ship/JP" and it said "SERVER IS FULL"

That's all ships and all blocks full to bursting. Nice one Sonic Team! :D

on saturday i was playin with some dude from v2, and he gave me a new weapon from the new game, a saber+15 -12 stars
it was very powerful.
However the next time i went online with it i got cut off from sega, could it be another hacked item? or maybe we just cant use the new psov2 stuff online.

man the japanese servers are so packed with ver 2 players that loads of them flock to the eu servers.its really funny when everyone just crowds round a ver 2 user,and start bombarding them with a load of questions.

You shouldn't have been able to even SEE the new weapon. We don't have the textures for it

Yeh, but if it was a sabre, surely they are the same as ver 1 sabres!

Could be a different colourer sabre, although to be fair I think they can just colour the textures on the blade to make it different. Like the DURANDAL I guess :)

The 'textures' for sabres could be procedural so there are no texture map images needed.

The saber looked like an ordinary green cr@ppy saber, i could see it and use it at first but then got cut off for possesing it when i tried to enter another game with it.
The the lettering for the word saber+15 were gold but not in capital letters in the item list, it was a special weapon though. I think thats the most a saber can be upgraded to.
