View Full Version : Bewitched, bothered and bewildered
Spent a lot of time yesterday working through the season 2 box set - how good is this episode?! Had me in stitches!
Problem is I only have the last two episodes to watch and that's it, the long wait til Season 3 :bigcry: I know it's early but has there been any indication as to a ballpark date? I'm a bit of a Buffy n00b really - I hadn't properly watched it til I got Season 1 a couple of months back and Season 2. I was trying to watch Season 4 regularly but alcihol can make you sleepy during late night showings  I wanted some sort of semblance of chronology as well so I avoided Season 5 but i'm regretting that now as well.
Curse me and my inability to spot these bandwagons earlier!

'Tis nice to see Buffy in a dressing gown :naughty: and even nekkid, tho u can't see anything ;(
It's also a good pre-episode (or whatever the proper name is) to Passion, due to it being more comical than most episodes, which is a wicked Ep.
I finished the Buffy DVD S2 last weekend, and after watching about 10 episodes last sat and sunday the rest of the week was withdrawel hell :(
Come on Fox - release them now!!!

Withdrawal?! Oh man, better make these last two last... let's see, if they're smart they should release another one in time for Christmas, that's 6 months away so if I take them at... that's one every 3 months!
Insert spoof of Trainspotting "To go Cold Turkey you need the following items:" scene here.
heh
the worst part is, i've only seen the first part of season three, once before. I really need to see them soon, before I give in and by the vids ;(
:growl:
On another point, a few people have noticed the packaging beginining to scratch the discs, me included. After an email to fox, and them taking my details, they are looking into the packaging situation. The scratching is fairly commonplace so hopefully they will do something about it...
If anyone wants the email address let me know and i'll dig it out :)

A shame then that I watched both last night. Doh! Even though I've seen them before anyway, it still had me welling up
Anyway, I may end up borrowing Season 3 on...
on....
VHS :shudder: from a friend of mine in desperation.
Reality - that address *would* be cool actually - the actual idea is really nice, the book thing looks really cool, i just wish they had the holders like in the first box set and I'd like to lend my name to the cause :)
noo, not the evil VHS...
The address is fox@foresight.co.uk . They should email you back asking for some details, and then will heopefully get back to us in a few weeks.
You played the writers commentarys yet? Nice idea, and some interesting stuff but could realy have done with adding someone else so they weren't alone - maybe a member of the cast to keep interest alive.
I only watched the Greenwalt one - I noticed the woman's (forgotten her name, sorry) one was over two episodes so decided to leave it for a rainy day. I watched a little of Joss's but had to go for dinner :) Haven't looked at the extras on the fourth disc yet...
well from what ive heard, season 3 is due out around october time and season 4 is out shortly before or after christmas. As for giving in to vhs, just remember to bring a good book to read whilst the tape is rewinding. ;)
Oh that doesn't sound so bad, if they can keep that sort of schedule. I expected one in time for Christmas but two would be ace!
My main problem with VHS was that I'd pay for them then get them all again on DVD but I can borrow them from a friend so it's not that big a deal I suppose.
Marti Noxon (Think thats how you spell it) is the one over the two episodes - she started to repeat herself during the second one which was a bit weird, but some interesting stuff in there...
She's now in charge with Joss for Season six I think, though could be wrong.
Yeah, Greenwalt seemed to describe what was happening on screen a little too much and was praising the actors a lot but there were some interesting bits mentioned. Joss is funny though, talking about how Tony does scenes without pants
