Well, my name is bobby and im 19. i've enjoyed reading comics when i was a kid but it gradually be came a kind of hobby when i was 15. ever since then i been buying tones and tones of comics.
I started off with mainly spiderman & venom but i eventually spread to other comics like hulk and recently avengers and dc's captain marvel "shazam"
my 5 fave characters i think are top are spiderman, shazam, hulk, venom & juggy. my most expensive comic i got atm is probably rampaging hulk issue 2, which is worth around £10 LOL

I'm a stripling of 21, not been reading comics too long.
I only buy trades/OGN's, cause they look nicer on my bookshelves, and keep longer.
amonngst my rapidly growing library I have
Transmet (duh)
Sandman
The Adventures of Luther Arkwright (signed, yay)
Heart of Empire (likewise)
The Tale of One Bad Rat (signed stock, so not as cool)
All things Shirow (Except Man Machine Interface)
Most things Takahashi
Watchmen
V for Vendetta
From Hell
Akira (as far as translation allows)
and more... too many more...
I have an aversion to all things superhero, hence my heavy reading of Vertigo and Dark Horse lines, and I'd name Hayao Miyasaki, Rumiko Takahashi, Warren Ellis, and Bryan Talbot as my favourite authors, and Yukito Kishiro and Bryan Talbot as my favourite artists
'Prized possession'... I'm not much into collectibility, but I did recently take the opportunity to get the two Luther Arkwright books in signed and personalised form, so them.

Name's Steve and I'm increasingly depressed at the thought of my impending 29th birthday in less than a fortnight :{.
Started reading 2000AD at issue 507 (Bad Company was just getting into full swing back then) then moved onto other stuff I guess when I was about 15 or 16.
Too long a list of stuff I've got to go into but some of my faves are Chaykin's American Flagg (finally rounded off my collection a couple of years back), Hellblazer (which was one of the earliest books I started reading and have stuck with ever since), Dave Lapham's Stray Bullets (very powerful story-telling) and Paul Grist's Kane (this guy's page structure is absolutely the best).
Prized Possession? Hmm, again, not much into the whole collecting for profit malarky so I guess I'd probably have to go with my full set of American Flagg as my prized possession 'cause it took me so ****ing long to get 'em all. Oh, and a copy of Thick Black Kiss also by Chaykin - if you ever lay your eyes on it buy it. It is the most balls-out, outrageously, unrepentantly black comic book I've ever seen. Paul Verhoeven should do the movie :)
