Wow!!

Omg this game is so amazing. At the moment its a little unstable but the quality is just so good.
After a tour of duty of i took my character into the city of Tir.....and which point my draw hit the floor and my eyes fell out.
The graphics are amazing, everyone looks different thew city is massive. I'm talking upwards of 100 structures.
Yes my Pc began to slow down but not surprizing realy there is so much detail.
The game bleeds atmosphere with help from the excellent music in the background, the sound effects are spot on..did I mention the graphics?

I hate seeing the muppets who are slagging the game off..why?
The amount of work that has gone into the game is amazing. Yes one or two things needs soughting out the rest is pure quality.
I'm hoping this game will take off big style...in my IMHO I believe this game will blow the existing 3 mmorpgs out of the water.

I know where my next four years of gaming are going..a little world know as Rubi-Ka.

Your right, the graphics are amazing!
It's the closest I've been to a Virtual World.

The city is soo big, I was shocked! As was my PC, it took two minutes for my PC to give-in and crash :mad:
I guess my PC couldn't cope with rendering at 1026x768, with full detail!
I've dropped the detail and I'm gonna try entering the city again ;)

(I'm an Omni Martial Artist... been hanging about in the newbie area training to lv8. Now, I'm gonna kick some ass in those missions!).

Yeh, the game is very good, the ambient music and graphics add a whole lot of atmosphere I've never 'felt' before. The sunsets/sunrises are some of THE most atmospheric sights I've ever seen in a game before.

The only criticism I have is that the missions seem a bit 'same'ish' - the same type of building and the same type of environment, maybe because it's only beta but I dunno .. there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of change other than the actual end objective.

BTW I think that if you go rebel, it lags a whole lot less than Omni at the moment ...... have fun!

Yeah It annoys me hearing them moaney little sh.ites going on about "this is supposed to be beta 4 not beta 1 its sooo laggy"
and "ohh this is just EQ with guns"
Ungrateful gits if they were paying for it maybe but its a big priveledge to be in this beta imo.
I know there are plenty of ppl more worthy of a beta place then some of the ppl on it.

True, being in the beta has been a good experiance :)
The lag hasn't been to bad either, just the odd moment. But I've put it down to debugging and stress-tests, which is what you'd expect from a beta!

Aside from that, my connection drops around once an hour +/- ...which can be annoying, especially if your in a mission because when you re-connect you have to start the mission from scratch :mad:

I've taken some nice screenies from the Omni-side of the game... as soon as my web host get their act together, I'll upload them!

Well the game is daaaaamn buggy and they need to make the indoor missions so that the walls fade away when you walk into a room because I have to spend most of the missions in 1st person mode which isnt that good ;(

Luckily the missions ave more variety than I though before, at least for the neutrals, in the clan missions the building have been a bit samey and boring but so far the 2 neutral ones I've done have been good, one was in some sorta abondoned cave full of water and another was in a collaspsed subway stylee thing, I think when the game comes out I'm gonna be a Neutral Athrox Martial Artists because the neutrals have by far got the coolest training area andI can easily change sides if I want plus I get free reign in Omni-1 and Tir :E

At first I was pretty dissapointed but now that I've worked out the controls and how everything works I like it :E

Its good the bugs will be fixed by a patch on launch day or in the gold release.

yeh it is a beta and no it isn't meant to be perfect but it is Beta 4 and the game has gone gold so ppl are just stateing that unless they have the 'magic' copy that's set aside that's totally bug free, we are gonna see some of these bugs in the final release.

But I'm off on holiday soon for 5 weeks so I'll buy it at the end of august and hopefully it will be sorted by then.

Well I work part time as a Physiotherapist but I'm studying SQL Server(MCP) and Oracle. I have my SQL exam on the 6th July . I then leave for Greece on the 17th July for 1 week. I'm back in sunny Wigan for 3 days then I fly over to Cognac in France for 1 week, 4 days in Bordeaux then 3 weeks in the south of France to get over our hectic schedule :)
