Umm excuse me, i used to have purple neon lights under my old Corsa, and it was the smartest thing I ever had. :furious: :)

But aye, twin headlamp conversions and spoilers so big they need their own lights to ward off low-flying aeroplanes. Also, alloys too big for the car that they rub the arches when you go over the slightest bump.

Bolt on tailpipes. Rubbish.

Air vents that are so obviously fake and just glued on. Yeurgh!

Why do people have them ? They don’t need them ! They don’t look better and it is a velcro cloth ! Why pay money for a velcro cloth you don’t need ! :mad:

3 Spoke alloys !

They are the most ugly bloody things I have ever seen in a wheel ! I would rather have wheel trims than them ! I have never seen a set that I like !

Tailpipes !

I don’t dislike all of these some do look rather smart . The ones I do hate is when some tosser has put one on so big its either A, Put a dent in his bumper or B, the heat from it is burning the bumper ! I see this old white escort a lot and there is a big brown burn stain on the bumper caused by the pipe ! WHY put something on you car that’s burning it ! GIT !!!!!

Twin headlight conversions !

First up they are ugly and second anyone who uses a bit of paper to do the job is a complete and uter ( c word rhymes with hunt ;)) ! And the noise some people have coming out of these things is just a loud noise ! It don’t even sound good !

Big Spoilers !

Big is ok if it suits the car (example alfa 156)! But if it don’t, DON’T PUT IT ON ! /minds the time he seen a MK2 Astra with an escort cossie wing ;( WTF is wrong with people ?

Neon lights, False air intakes, idiots that tart up a diesel and filling it with a stereo also get a moan but I aint got all day ! :E

Personally I think the body stuff you get from a manufacturer is far enough ! It looks good and it suits the car ! It makes yours different from most ! Suits me fine :)!

Venom alloys - they're the sickest set of wheels available yet so many Barry's insist on kitting their Nova's and Astra's out with them! I've even seen them on cars you wouldn't normally associate with the Barry's of this wolrd. Sick and wrong.

Oh yeah, and big "NO FEAR" stickers in the back window. I saw an Astra outside Tesoco's once the a No Fear sticker in the back window in reverse! The twonk! I guess it's for all the poeple who drive backwards so they can read it in their mirrors!

And while I'm on the subject of Nova drivers - why must they all wear those stupid white baseball caps?

Well the thing I hate so much that hasn't already been mentioned is headlamp protectors
ARGH I hate those things - wtf do people have em? They are so ugly and uncool! I mean when was the last time you had your headlamp smashed by a stone?

FFS those things make me so angry. If my headlamp smashes I will but a new one. Fook the cost. I'd rather walk then have headlamp protectors on my car.

I know im one of the few bikers in ere, but when it comes to bikes there absolute worst thing I see ppl do to very nice bikes is put coloured headlight protectors on them :[

I mean ffs, does anybody really want a big purple/green/red pair of headlights to match the colour of ones fine machine :angry:

We aint all like that honest :emb:

Plus I hate sad couples who wear matching leathers/helmets/sunglasses etc etc..how very sad do they look :P

On subject of cars, why do they put them big crap exhausts on them that make them sound like low revving tractors ? Got something like a 4" diameter outlet, they look crap ffs :[

The only thing said in this thread that I havent agreed with so far.
how can you possibly think that some sh*tty 1" rusty piece off crap hanging off the back off a car looks better than a nice shiny fat 4" tailpipe?
For one they sound damn fine compared to normal (agreed there are sometimes when it can be TOO loud), but they look better, but they give better performance as far up to an extra 20+ bhp if you get a full exhaust and manifold. Just getting a large tailpipe can increase bhp by 5.

Im pretty sure youd be disgusted if you looked at your bike one day to find that the big fat muckle exhaust it probably has, had been swapped with something that was probably last fitted to a Fiat 126.

Now take back that comment, dip yourself in holy water and say 13 Hail Mary's, only then will your sinful comment be repented.

Hmmm how can you say the blitz exhaust's on the Supra's and Skyline's look bad?. Ok a big fat exhuast on a nova is bad but they look good on the big powered jap car's.

I think what kirkeh meant was that an exhaust pipe which is clearly not the right size looks ****, but obviously a car designed with an XXL exhaust looks ok. :)

I saw a black nova go down the road today (I know the owner quite well) who has a 4 inch exhaust and I gotta say, it sounds good. But it actually made me laugh loudly when I saw it was his nova. I thought it was a TVR or something equally as tasty, not my friends crappy nova. :P So they do look and sound stupid on a crap car.

As for the fact that it can release an extra 5-20 bhp from a car, well, I am doubtfull that it is going to make a difference on a muppet mobile, which are normally badly maintained, old and knackered so they probably arn't producing any extra horses to be "released" by a better breathing back-box. :) (points out alliteration :P )
