Ok I will now order it. I never thought about getting Castlevania (Tony Hawks is brilliant), but all the reviews have gave it a excellent score. I am going to order it today.

castlevania aint for everyone..its quite a deep game and can be lost on less hardcore gamers...im sure a lot of peeps would get bored with it quite early

casual gamers looking for a quick fix will most likely not like it

So what's the GBA version like? I heard it was similar to SOTN on the PS. If that is the case I will buy one very soon!

castlevania on GBA is very similar to SOTN (which is a good thing)

Ok thanks for the views :)
Is there alot of text in the game?
I don't know whether to but the US or Jap Version now.

Seabass

there is quite a bit of text- most of it is only plot wise and dosen't reveal any clues- but when u get a new item- like the dash boots it will usally tell u what it does and how to activate it- and if u can't read japanese well ur screwed.

oh...the card system rules

I suppose I can always get the FAQ.

I think I am going to go for the US version of Tony Hawks 2 and US version of Castlevania.

Chow, you'll love the game itself.

I find it a cross between the SNES CVs and Symphony of the Night, makes for a good mix if you ask me!

The animation is probably the least polished part of the entire game, but when ur whipin hundreds of Zombies, Skeletons, Worms and Bats you don't care.

Can't wait to see the next GBA ones...they're almost gauranteed given the success of this one.

God, I wish I had a Gameboy advanced now. :{
And too bad they cancelled that Castlevania game for the DC all that time ago. That made me very sad. Now I just sit at home playing Castlevania 64 and I dream.

Sturae

..and realise that castlevania 64 is a disgrace to the whole franchise!

JackG2

That may be so, but I happened to enjoy Castlevania 64, thank you very much. :P

CV64 was a good game in it's own right...just...how the hell was THAT CastleVania?

I can't wait for Chronicles on PSX! back to the old skool style! This RPG stuff makes it alot more complex than it was...that ain't a bad thing...but I just miss the old straight forward style of the original ones on NES an SNES.
