IRC is beginning to irritate me!

I remember when mIRC didn'y work on my PC forno apparent reason, then bang, one day it did. Recently its stopped working again. It just can't connect to servers and it times out.

Im connected to the internet through a LAN which runs on a Wingate network.

Ensure that you allow connections through port 6669 on your Wingate server as that is the default IRC port used. Also make sure your proxy settings are set up, especially if you use a socks server or similar.
