I just registered for AO, but my browser crashed as i submitted my credit card details. Anyway, when on the funcom site i try to log in to see if the account is there, it says "username and/or password failed." So, I though my account musn't have been registered. I went to register again only to get the message "CD-Key already in use." I found a part of the site that allowed you to check wether your username and CD-Key are linked and it told me the username i input was not the one linked to my CD-Key. I've emailed FunCom but i decided i'd post my problem here too as there are often some nice helpful folk around.

I tried the blank password thingy on their web site and it said my missing info was updated successfully. But when i try logging in it starts to download a patch then the server name list dissapears. Does this just mean the servers are down?

Hi

So login accepts you username and password now? If it does and your having problem patching then you could try clicking

"Go here to download exe patches" and down load and install manually.

It may have been that the patch server was down.. you can check server status here > http://ultima.lightning.net/ao
