i got about £18k for a new car (company) in september. obviously my tax is gonna be shagged but i can handle it.

i WAS thinking :

alfa 156

some kind of bmw - glasses guide has kinda really low prices and thats what i am based on.

new cooper S mini ?

what you peeps reckon for that money, Glasses Guide prices remember.

well despite what cookie says (i have no idea whether its true or not) i really like the 156, my sis has one coming as her next company car in August, she asked me what she should get from her possible choices and i went straight for the 156.

beemers are nice if u get them kitted, but standard bmw's do absolutely nothing for me, theyre as old hat as merc's

new mini? i reckon its be just like the new beetle, ugly little car thats more off a fashion accessory than an actual car.

is that the only choice u have or is there more?

I actually ahave really taken a shine to the new mini after seeing the review in last months evo, it has really changed my mind. The quote I remember is "You get into a sub-12k car and suddenly it gets all Audi TT on you". It also seems like a good drive etc etc, I suggest checking it out.

I also really like the new mini and swany dont know what hes on about :P 4 years they have been working on that little car, i bet its great. Its also getting great reviews.

The only trouble is that for RESPEC is that all this years are sold and the mini cooper s might not be here for a while ! I would say after september.

RESPEC what sort of choices have they gave you and what are you looking for in a motor ?
