As a storm thundered above
I heard the girl cry
"dont you all know"
"a dark angel just died!"
"they clipped off his wings
"and tore through his heart"
and as she sat in the circle
the tears did start
I put my arm round her
to comfort her soul
She pulled away from me
Not wanting console
"the angels dont die"
I tried to explain
She turned away from me
again and agin
"they only just fall"
"from sky unto earth"
"and the do loose their wings"
"in return for rebirth"
"and how do you know this?"
she asked wiping up tears
"Beacuse i used to be one"
"ive been mortal fo years"
