View Full Version : CD-Key In Use Error
I have a CD key error.In registration I entered my details, and clicked submit, nothing happened. I clicked submit again, still nothing happens. I carried on trying, then gave up. I tryed starting again but now it says my cd key is in use, yet i can't use my name and password. I am more than a little annoyed. I tried this forum and the announcements but nobody has firm details. What causes the modem to slow so much? Has anyone recovered from having the "cd key in use" error? i have sent an email to funcom describing my situation, but i would also like to know if anyone else has the same problem and if they have found a solution. Thanks for your help!
There is a little blurb that comes up with an email addy when you can't reconnect..i'll write it down tonight. It says something about cd-keys..
Did you use the same login name etc each time? Have you tried loading up AO and putting them in and seeing what happens? I can't remember the cd key bit...quite frankly if someone else has hodged your cd-key it sucks the world over. No doubt they have some sort of action to counteract this. Hope so anyways. Have faith! Also, where did you buy the cd from? Did you pay for the serial and dl it...buy it from GP? Was it still in its shrink wrap? If ya got it from EB..mmph..
