CraigC came into #pokemon just after I banned Coolmuppet for the millionth time, but didn't give me reason there and then to ban him. I'd also gone away.

Most of my Custom Kicks are designed for use on Diablos, which can help to explain towards their pointlessness.

Custom Kicks:

Stupidity Kick
Being Alive Kick
Bordom Kick
STFU Kick (One day I may code a version of Wu's Shutup List)
Clone Kick
Stop Doing That Kick (For use when Diablos abuses my script, although he recently stopped doing that after I modified my script)
CAPS KICK


Other kicks are triggered by certain things said in the channel, such as my Trout Kick, which only works if they trout slap me. /me smacks Waller and /me flames Waller also triggered kicks, but I have since modified them, so they don't kick anybody except Diablos now.

My Custom Bans, however, are not purely for use on Diablos, and I use them often on the various muppets that bother me (Coolmuppet and Simon being the worst two).

My default BanKick deops them before banning, so I didn't have to code that.

Custom Bans:

DeopBan (this deops the person if they have ops and bans their host, but doesn't kick them. As the bots in #pokemon don't kick banned people, it means I can watch them beg to be unbanned)
OpDeopBanKick (stupid name, but what it does is op them, deop them before they can do anything, op, deop, and so on, then it BanKicks them)


Then there's my auto-ban list, which I modified with embarrassing consequences. Usually it would ban the offender only if I were opped, but it says the ban message to the channel, so the GPbots there can ban them. Of course, I'm only opped in #wpforums, but one day Coolman could go there, but it goes off in all my channels, so I'm trying to ban people when I'm not opped. I've worked out how to make it only give the message in specific channels, but I can't be bothered to change it yet.

That's pretty dodgy. If they know that you are going to give them ops, then they could quite easilly have a script sitting waiting for ops, which then bans the op giver, then causes more random chaos.
Or am I reading it wrong? ;(

I've only used it once to test it, and it seemed to work pretty well, but I'm too frightened to actually use it, in case something goes wrong, which would most likely happen sooner or later. I'll probably only use it for people I want to wind up who I'm positive won't try to takeover the channel.

Erm, if your hostmark is banned in a channel you are in, it is impossible to communicate to the channel (hmm, maybe through CTCP's, but I'm not sure.) So getting people to beg for forgiveness by banning and not kicking them is pointless, since they have to msg you anyway
