What weapon you gonna play first?

Not long to wait now for Beta 2.0, and I wondered what new weapons you're going to go for when you first step in that server? I was lucky enough to be able to get the preview version to write about and the first weapon I tried was the Axis spade :D I'm sure you lot will pick either the Axis Spade or the Allies .30 Caliber Air-Cooled Machinegun :)

Tbh I just want to try out the new poll feature :)

thats my favourite gun, im just hoping theyve remodeled it cos the current model is balls.

well most people seem to have gone right for the carbine the Mg's are too spammy and also anoying i find :) but are still good but imho carbine is the one :D

also the spade is just for smacking people in replacement for the nife on some classes like the Axis light inf not every class has it and tbh i think it only has a use for smacking people couldnt find any other use for it

I think the thompson is the same but I'm not sure.. I don't think theres anything wrong with the current one imo. Will check for you later though :) Also, although the spade is only a replacement it is funny when you manage to catch someone off guard for a second and *boing* :D

well overlord is a spamm fets for the mg42 and 34 :)

after all just about the entier map is encampable with it :D
all along the trench sides are so you can cover with 2 or 3 the whole top isde of the cliffs and then oyu have the bunkers as well :D

The machine gun class is way over rated

Yes hes good once set up in a good position with lots of traffic going past.

But first hes got to get there and set up and have defence from the rear and sides, which on public servers just ain't gona happen.

So on public servers MG class = crap

in an organised clan match then things might be different and he will be very useful.

Therefore

on publics Kar owns you all

MG class aint over rated
in the ahnds of a good player its very effective the positions are useually hard to get to have good cover all round places like cean they will be more open but others they arnt useually in windows and the like so you really have good cover waht you ahve got to watch for is snipers and the limited movement you ahve with it once its setup.


But getting there into place aint really a problem since most mg posts are in cover adn useually our cable to get there under cover.

on the beach maps like overlord bunkers are all encampable sandbags and also the trench edges are all en campable mnost of the map is :) so you can chose to setup in the open under cover or in a good coverd rea fireing position that the nme will go past tbh there are good and bad positions but its not over rated gun this is the new sniper rifle this will be the one class every one wants to be on the server. it is very very effective and quite hard to get out of an encamped position unless with a good grenade or a long way round to get behind them which is sometimes imposible

But im saddened to hear that there will still be a rush to snipers as i thikn they hold a lot of dominance over the game already especially since in the actual war they werent thta common :((
