You can play Halo on-line now.. this minute, you should do your research a bit my friend before posting nonsense like that.

All you need is broadband and a program so your PC acts like a bridge, free to download.

Its a bridge (switch) for the Xbox, basically your fooling the Xbox into thinking its on a basic LAN, your not routing any packets anywhere its just working at the MAC address level, not layer 3 IP.

You use Gamespy to link-up to people using the same software.

Naaa no NAT'ing required, like I say it dont work at an IP Address level, just MAC Address.

FiRe, this isn't a Microsoft piece of software Im talking about that allows you to play HALO on-line, its been developed by other people, there's about 5 versions of it on the net, Microsoft are actually pleased that people have created it, as it keeps up the on-line play until they've released theirs, all its doing is fooling the xbox into thinking its on a link-up via a hub or switch.

Xbox-live (what your talking about) will be available in the autumn as you say, but thats got nothing to do with HALO's on-line capability, you wont need to buy another version of it.

There's some juicy games that are gonna be out for Xbox-live tho, Phantasy Star on-line... Mmmmmm...

Star Wars Galaxies is the biggy tho.. there goes my life when that one comes out...

I was luckily able to get my books as part of a training course with work - which is a result as I've just looked on Amazon and one costs £55 and the other £84 :eek:

The books are:

CCNA Exam Certification Guide

and a boxed set "CCNA Preparation Library" which includes:

Introduction to Cisco Router Configuration
Internetworking Technologies Handbook 2nd Edition.

You're welcome to them, although they're the books for the 640-407 CCNA exam and I think the current exam is 640-507. :{

My eye sight aint that good, and I got to hold the mouse with two hands to steady the shakes, I take more than 30 secs to kit up at round start, and turn forty next year, apart from that I still kick butt by the good ol spray n pray method:D
