Anyone managed to connect to a RTCW server yet through Gamespy 3d and if so how?

Don't use it anymore...never gives me a full refresh of servers.

Try All Seeing Eye (http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/), much better than GS3D and Arcade.

I can get a fine RtCW listing from GS.

Wireplay address: 62.105.80.4:27970 (- you have to enter it manually as the wp servers are not on the GS master server list just yet because we're still in beta).

Make sure you're using the lastest GS version (v2.56).
(And check out the ping time compared with everyone else!)

I didn't have 2.56 but on download you have to pay for that one or have registered previously :(

Oh well, maybe I shouldn't be so stingy, or download All Seeing Eye

Aye, ditch GheySpy (spit) and get All Seeing Eye.
Tis much better, doesn't look as flashy but at least theres no poxy popups every 5 seconds and it's easy to use too. :)

Yeah, I'm with the illuminati game browser at the mo to.

All Seeing Eye is me choice of the moment :)

Eye is the very best
187666 faster refreshes than gamespy, it's totaly free, it got a sub-tab for every mod in every game and it updates automaticly
you even can choose which patch of a game you are using
for example: q3 1.29, 1.30, 1.31 ...etc

try it, you'll uninstall GS after 3 seconds :)

arrg!! gspy is ar5e ...... ASE is pretty good, but a little involved, and large ( ~5mb in memory) but also RTCW pathfinder is a tiddly stand alone, less than 500k, a very good for a 3rd party gamebrowser.

Not being snooty or anything,but why is it whenever anybody asks a question about how to do something in Gamespy. You always get tons of replies saying "use this instead". Its the same with Q3, someone asks why their in game browser no longer finds any servers, and you get 10 replies saying use this or that instead.
