PC Gamer "Mod of theYear"

The Day of Defeat team is proud to announce that DoD has been named PCG's Mod of the Year. The issue with the fantastic news broke to subscribers today and will likely hit shelves soon. In the meanwhile here's a snippet from the write-up:
"A more realistic mod than we're normally used to seeing, DoD manages to mix together machinegun charges, artillery barrages, and sniper fire in one endlessly playable package."
i gather this is the US version of pcgamer, if anyone is a regular reader of pcgamer or even pczone over here youll probably know that they have never really given dod any decent coverage, dismissing dod without really getting into it.
im wondering now how long it will be before they jump on the bandwagon and start raving about how great it is(which the majority of us have known for over a year now).
even with the introduction of RTCW and MOH you would of thought that these mags would have a look at dod, but no, they go on and on about how good these games are in multiplayer with hardly a passing glance at dod, yet imo dod is far a superior mp game than either of these two.
you never know they may even put down their aimbots and stop playing CS for a while long enough to review dod again and see it for what it realy is, an excellent game.
