Just been playing on DoD #2 and my oh my what a shambles.

The sooner we have admins on the server the better.

Loads of muppets lobbing grenades into a pack of your team "i saw an enemy" yeah right.

Getting into a kick ass defensive position on the one with the bridge only to be TK'd without so much as a "sorry".

PLEASE turn FF off - it blaows as it is :| and turn Admin mod on (if it works)

Admin mod won't work until they release a patch for it and admins should be sorted shortly :)

there are a few numpties..but generally peeps are trying to play as a team...except refugee who keeps running off the cap point:p

DOD doesnt really work with FF off though its one of those games where it never really turns out right if you have it off yes you can still play it but then its really mucked up the blast of greandes menas a spamm of a few and allies have to run like feck knows what to get away while the axis walk right up the middle off it.

also the MG's cna just spamm right through an advanceing pack of tema m8s which again makes it quite un blanaced But admins should heopdully be here soon and then we can stop the problem with a few team killers

must admit it has been ropey but the peeps i hafve seen doing it i got screen shots and demos of so when admins do arrive can get them sorted out :)

no hehe, you gotta wait for the game to announce that the cap point is taken..we needed it to say " point captured" which happens after a few seconds that the flag is filled on the screen-then you move on

you can actually turn gun FF off and leave the gren FF on.
the kustom/kaiser kettle servers have had this for a long time now.

although your still at risk from gren tk'ers it cuts out the 4rs3holes hole just shoot you for no reason.

Intron with FF on it does not stop the TK'ers from mowing you down with an MG.

Just had an experiance with a Lone Wolf who decided it would be great idea to kill 4 of the 5 people he spawned with as we ran out of respawn area.

With muppets who just dont get the idea of "if I lob all my grens at that pack of my team mates about to capture a point, I might hurt some of them"

These people are too stupid to be playing any online game - let alone DoD2.0 with is not for the newbie to online games imo.

aye defo need admin mod on (a few to many l33t shots going on imo :P) and if we can turn ff gunfire off and leave grens on i fink that would be good...

If you check http://www.dayofdefeatmod.com i think you'll notice the third newqs item down has an Admin Mod repairer, but it wasn't tested. Worth a shot for sure..

id rather have it off atm, even with admins theres always some idiot who ruins the game.
As much as i like having ff on, id rather have it turned off when playing dod.

I think half damage (is that possible? mp_teamplay 42 or something on TFC) would be nice, then if u do shoot ur team mates it wont be that bad.

having said that the major problem is just muppets tk'ing on purpose....
Any chance of an Admin Team for DoD

We should at least make 1 server ff off. And that supersonic sid r lamer ref. Played wif him today and what can i say! he respawn camped !! :|

I played with that sid guy tonight-apparantly he was in the navy as a submarine rear machine gunner...not sure bout that, wouldnt the bullets get wet?....anywho my views on ff, leave it on.
It doesnt take much practice to hit the target and if its turned off everyone will just peg around spammin etc..just my views, ff is part of the game and thats how it should stay.

the one thing that i :wub: bout DoD is the realism, all the takin' cover + lobin' grens down an alley at axis so u can get a bit further down it when it blows etc + i think the way in which that it makes it so much like a real WW2 mod is amazin'. Now wiv ff off it just wouldn't be the same, no care would need to be taken when lobbin' grens or wiv ur machine gun or when u get 1 axis run in between a group of ur allies. tkers r a pain in the ass but should be rid of 'em sooon (:fingerscrossed:)
