Were the hell is the snooper rifle?

Can any1 plz tell me where the snooper rifle is on the forest level of RTCW. I know it will be in a really obvious place but I carn't find it and it's annoying. Unless that isn't the objective I have missed, I am in the base place I have not been decected and have read the not on the wall in one of the buildings.

Once you go into the big tunnel there is a side tunnel, take that and follow in round to the ladder. Go up and head right, towards the watchtower/mg42 placement where the two Germans talking.

After a minute one of the Germans will head off into the woods, follow him, when he is out of site/hearing of the other soldier, kill him.

To the right is the second parachute containing the Snooper and other stuff.
