Now in DOD2 they have the kick(?) back wondering if their is away to control it? when I shoot I seem to hit no-one, funny at times but not when it matters :{ can anyone help with this prob?

Its cos u reel off a whole clip in one go.

Short controlled bursts minimises recoil/kickback, if your talking about an anti recoil script then i would consider that cheating ala CS.

But i'm not talking about an anti recoil script just wondering if it can be controlled somehow.

Listen to my wise words..

depends on the gun also, the kar and rifle u can shoot pretty well on the run, and the thomson to that effect...
but usualy first person to get on his knees and aim proper will win. :)

I dont think how much you shoot has ANY differnce on the spread of shot. I'd like to be able to prove this - but if I fire a small burst or a big burst with the sub-machinegun the chances of the shot hitting on target dont seem to be affected. If you move the mouse down at the right amount as you shoot you keep the fall of shot in the same zone.

I'd like the shot to be more accurate for first shot and then get more and more innacurate as the weapon is fired, as that would give you some sence of actually having any control over what you are killing.

At the moments its luck - i've been in firefights where I have shot off about 5-10 rounds INTO somone and they turn, fire and kill me.

Maybe a grenade launcher might be more your style

Seriously though, the lag is very much part of the problem and hit boxes seem to be screwed in some circumstances. The recoil does take some getting used to.

Also shooting the enemy at point blank range in the head with no effect takes some getting used to.

I'm sure it will all come right in the end.:D

well ive found my first shot to be almost dead on then it starts to spread out and i did prove this when i was doing my dod2 preview since we fierd all the guns at the wall and checked the spreads and stuff and also the kick backs ive not got it any more on the web though

But the acuraces is greater if you fire either single shots or a short 2 or 3 burts but tbh when your up close it dont matter really since the spread aint goona stop you missing some one close its only long range use of the weapons really that you ahve to fire shorter bursts off at people

also where you hit people determins the damadge dont think letting rip into some ones legs is goona really kill them off chest and head are best targets also you can shoot some people what you think is dead on and its not ive had that with the sniper rifle the lag and the sway at long range you can be shotting dead on and its not and misses for some odd reason must be delayed or something

when I was in a clan praccys ( can't remember what map ) i ran up over a hill bit and one of the enemy was in this little corner place I ran up with my gun out and started firing, though he still killed me, and I was close tbh.
