Can you all do this community a huge favour and when you see people on the servers can you point them in this direction?

We dont have that much traffic through these boards, considering DoD is I think the number 2 mod for HL at the moment. (it might be more popular than that even ;))

All it needs it to give out the url for the forums, and get them to stop by. The more players that wander past the more clans we can get involved and the more people we have playing in the league when it finally gets started (/me kicks Mikkk :P)

Sure the url is given out in the MOTD console but not many people will actually take note of it. Have a chat to them and get them to stop by.

If you have any suggestions for raising the awareness of Wireplay from a DoD point of view then jot it down here.

Lets try to not have 50 suggestions along the lines of:

Jump on Jolt/BY/etc. servers and msg spam 'Looking for a good, fast paced, friendly game of DoD? Try Wireplay :lips: ' etc. ... try to be original :gren:

Refresh my memory as I have forgotten, how do you bind a key to spam a message while in game?

You know like press a key and it comes up in talk, with something like come visit wireplay dod forums at blah blah, or we will burn your house down or summat?

How about hack into Day of defeat beta 2.1 before it ships and make sure it only ever points to wireplay servers:P

i try and spam that a few times, also when im sitting in irc bored ill use hlsw to spam it too :)

there are other things you can do.. changing your sig on the dodmod forums to include a link to this place, submitting scripts and models/skins with the url of this forum in the readme... posting your clans details on the dodmod clans forum and say your a wireplay clan... blah blah :)
