best IRC Client?

Whats the best IRC client out there? I was using normal mirc with the away script, but it keps PING PONGING I've used extreme,QScript,pnp,Bersirc etc

In mIRC go into Options (Alt + O) then IRC then Options and check "Hide ping? pong! event" and voila! no more Ping? Pong! messages

Incidentally, this is what the server uses to check your connection is still alive when you are inactive in IRC for an extended amount of time.

I've always liked the standard mirc with the addon scripts, I've tried extreme but its just way more than I need.

I can't script very well for Virc 2, probably because I've never bothered to read the documentation, but I doubt it's really difficult, although I admit mIRC is easier.

mIRC seems to have a wonderful balance between complexity and simplicity, so you shouldn't need to use anything else :E
